Ramadan 1440H

Salam and hi :)

Ramadan is nearing to its end now. I feel really connected and motivated for this year's ramadan. Alhamdulillah. I feel very easy and motivated to do daily good deeds, avoid social media that contains backbiting content, and to focus on me and my relationship with God.

However I haven't finish any books on this month. Ahh, yet. Hehe. I became lazy when I can't fasting, as I watch some dramas on Netflix. Now I hope I can reevaluate myself again and continue to have a productive ramadan. And continuing so after ramadan, ameen.

On the day of twelveth ramadan, I got a sort of good news, alhamdulillah. 'Sort of good news' because I have a mix feelings about it. And now I decided to accept this opportunity. And I will begin a new journey next! I can't wait though, as I need something new and challenging right now in my life.

Today is the last day working in ramadan. InshaAllah I will be going back to my hometown tomorrow.

To do good to other people is encourage in our religion, but firstly it must be extended to our family and relatives.

Have a bless ramadan everyone.

And eid mubarak!

Privilege

Now it is still hot on the issue of quotas in our education relating to races. I don't want to comment on what other people say about it, even the Minister of Education himself. Just want to share about my personal experiences with my non-bumi friends.

After SPM, I was selected to pursue Foundation (Asasi) in UiTM Shah Alam. Then I pursue my degree in UKM. During introduction with my one of my non-bumi friends, I remembered he asked me how to enter into Foundation in Law as I was. He did not know there was an option as he took STPM.

I vividly can feel the ashamed that I felt to myself during that time, as I explained to him, "Oh, this one is just for Bumiputera". Privilege? Checked.

It's weird when people pointing out that certain races are rich enough so that they can enter into a private university. Did it not occur to some of you that they enter into such uni because they were not accepted into public university because of quota restricted? They have no other choice.

It is easy to live in a bubble, citing uncited source to complement the remarks that remains whether to be true.

Malaysia Baharu, indeed we are still in a baby steps.
